My husband is in Toledo Hospital transfered from Flower Hospital. Flower Hospital was great. Toledo we are very unhappy with the way we were put in limbo as to when he was having surgery and exactly until Thursday 5/1 at 11:15am. Transfered wed 4/30 at 1am to Toledo. Please get back with me!

How do you feel about ProMedica's future?
If they don't start compensating their employees more, and appreciating what they do no matter their role with promedica they will have a mass walk out.
They are aggressively growing. I hope that bodes well for the future

Be honest.
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from ProMedica?
Clinical manager, director of ops and a recruiting person. Within one week.
What do people at ProMedica think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
He seems distant and inaccessible
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at ProMedica?
Real honest fiscal accountability. True professional leaders who invest in the development of their people. Culture starts from the top down and requires leaders to effectively communicate a simple, clear mission driven message. Some of the managers and mid-level managers i see dont seem to want to do the hard work of changing culture. It is hard work. But worth it in the end.
What part of ProMedica's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
I would say, based on the nearly 1 billion $$ of infrastructure projects underway in the city. One can easily see the priorities for Promedica. However, the staff/patients ratios seem to be such that staff is overwhelmed and angry.
What's the office vibe like at ProMedica?
I am not in an office.
What are you most excited about working at ProMedica?
Making patients smile and feel relaxed.
How's the work life balance at ProMedica?
80/20 in favor of work. Again, when you literally never know when you can leave, it is hard to have a life.
How much and how often do raises happen at ProMedica?
For regular hourly employees probably once/year. For those of us who are contracted....what raise?

What team outings? Our dept didnt even get a Christmas dinner, or box of candy from our leaders??
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at ProMedica?
Very. Every single day at work, my time of departure is totally unknown and that makes scheduling anything social next to impossible

Largely under appreciated and like a cog in a very large wheel

Fairly. More due to the nationwide shortage than anything promedica does
