Appreciative of the opportunity to lead a great team and serve our Veterans. Thankful to have a VP who cares about our team and is forward thinking. Hopeful that most of the unnecessary created stress can diminish soon. That's the only real pain pain point. Intimidation is not effective leadership.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The benefits package is very comprehensive and all inclusive. It's also fairly priced.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The engagement with Executive Leadership (VP) and my local team. Everyone wants to succeed and the best for each other. I hope to achieve the same with my immediate leader at some point.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team: The level of commitment and dedication we all share. Willingness to learn and grow. Collaboration and ownership/accountability. My peers: I would like to see us be more collaborative and less divided in not only our operation but communications.. I think it's getting better though.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team and the ability to support them - they work so hard for our overall team. My ability to learn from and work with my VP-Brenda Davis. She is a phenomenal and supportive leader. The best I've ever encountered. I hope to achieve this same level of excitement and "happiness" with my leader soon.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that we have VP that is extremely interactive at all levels and allows everyone to not only have a voice but to feel comfortable and confident in sharing it. Brenda Davis is invested in the team in every way and it is a pleasure to serve for and along side her to accomplish greatness.
