Manager at my location is only there for an hour or two once a week. The front desk person, who is left in charge, but has no title or power, is not helpful in resolving issues, at all.

I would improve the interview process by finding out what everyone needs that need to be met
They will hire absolutely anyone who's willing to take the lowest pay they do not care.
There was no interview. I showed up for an interview and was told to go follow around someone doing the job and help them. I did for 2 hours (unpaid) and then they asked if I thought I could handle it and told me to come back tomorrow.
