depends I was pushed through almost 5 years ago... On average the interviews take an hour but you can have up to 4 separate interviews ranging from 30 mins to 2 hours

From what ive seen it is pretty high.

Great, for those who have been there 20+ years and know no other workplace. Poor, for those who want to advance and grow on merit.

At this point nothing.

Any position with an HR that pays market rate, does not cut benefits and raise healthcare costs every year while pretending they are doing us a favor. Desire to grow on merit rather than connections. Customer, rather than internal focus. A work environment of people who care about one another's growth.

Only if you know (and befriend (read: butter up)) the right people. If you're not in Madison or Teterboro, you won't have much of a chance to.

It's a frequent happening.

Hours not overly long but frustrating environment puts one in an awful mood.

I'm not very social.

Not particularly. It's stable, which is as good as I can say.

I get a paycheck.

Broken. My last bonus depended on giving the highest possible rating on each question. Free-response feedback was never addressed.

What exactly do you mean by feedback? If we're talking a black hole that emails go into and are never answered, it's awesome.

Politicians. People who befriend and flatter influential executives and never rock the boat.

Those who kiss up to higher ups and follow blindly. Quest doesn't like innovation or independent thought.

They behave as though the core lab business will grow forever and is immune to technological innovation. It will steadily grow...until it gets disrupted out of the market.

They'll probably be around for the long term. They buy up most of their competition.

Fortunately, my immediate supervisor (who came from the outside) routinely challenges me to grow.

Every day is a challenge at Quest.

No idea. We are kept in the dark.

Not very. Most of our workers are consultants from offshore companies. There is only a skeleton staff of FTEs.
