    Zero. They've been trying to innovate for years and when you look at the numbers, all of the "future" projects combined add up to less than 5% of revenue. The old legacy (which has been put on autopilot) accounts for all of the profit. They haven't had a single successful offering as a company...every successful product has been acquired (and then destroyed)

  • Standing on the shoulders of some great legacy software and having a complete lack of understanding of innovation.

  • The past. When we were actually a software company, it was a great place. The last couple of acquisitions (Dell and Francisco Partners) make me embarrassed but being close to retirement, I'm coasting. The current version of Quest has nothing to be proud of - just another software meat market.

  • If you know how to suck up, you really don't have to do work. Just blame the process when things go bad so they can add more process and you can do less work. It's like riding a bike downhill.

  • You can't promote any longer. They have put salary caps in place and rules that state that you must make XXX% of the new position to be promoted. Since those ranges are now out of range of the caps, promotion is simply not possible (at least in the US).

  • It's on its last legs. They have a few more years of milking the old legacy products but with nothing in the future pipeline (that works), the future is pretty bleak.
