Rebecca Rhoads — Vice President and President of the Global Business Services (GBS) Group at Raytheon Technologies

Ms. Rebecca R. Rhoads has been the President of the Global Business Services (GBS) Group at Raytheon Company since December 20, 2013 and has been its Vice President since April 2001. Ms. Rhoads is responsible for developing and implementing company-wide information systems and policies. Ms. Rhoads serves as the Chief Information Officer of Raytheon Company until January 1, 2016. She served as Chief Information Officer of Raytheon Company from April 2001 to December 2013. She served as Vice President of Information Systems Technology at Raytheon's Electronic Systems segment since February 2000 and as Vice President of Information Technology, Defense Systems business unit of Raytheon Systems Company since July 1999. From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Rhoads served as Director of the Raytheon Test Systems Design Center, where she was responsible for all aspects of information technology in support of business requirements, including development, direction and implementation of segment-wide information systems. She directed engineering organizations in test systems design, systems reliability, safety and product effectiveness engineering and manufacturing engineering. Ms. Rhoads has more than 26 years of experience within the defense industry. She began her career with General Dynamics in 1979 as an Electrical Engineer, designing automated test systems for RAM and Stinger missile programs. She worked in the engineering and operations directorates, holding various assignments in engineering and management at General Dynamics Hughes and Raytheon. She taught Electrical Engineering classes at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, Calif. She serves on the Aerospace Industries Association e-Business Executive Steering Group and the Chief Information Officer Editorial Advisory Board. Ms. Rhoads has a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic University. She also holds a master's degree in the executive management program from the University of California at Los Angeles Anderson Graduate School of Business Management.
