It's not the money but rather the lack of respect.
It's complicated, because I recognize my position and it's ceiling, which I'm at, but there were changes to tax laws that impacted my out of pocket office expense situation that in effect caused me to lose money, which was a devastating hit for me.

There is a "back office" vs. "front office" mentality that pits the one against the other that is just mentally exhausting to navigate. Being the messenger getting shot a lot lately, it can be demoralizing.
