It's been a roller coaster. There have been some successes but at the same time failures as well. There has been consistent change fr the past 3.5 years, from re-org to leadership changes. While most employees are open to change there should be some stability as well.

What are your coworkers at RGP like?
Same as any office

How much diversity is there among employees at RGP?
At RGP, we are very proud of our diversity statistics. In fact, more than 60% of our U.S based employees are made of minorities and women. We believe that having a diverse population of employees that brings different perspectives and experiences only makes us better in serving our clients. We have been able to attract and identify talent that not only represents RGP well, but serves as a reflection of the diversity of our clients.
As a female, it's a comfortable mix of genders. I was in a project meeting with about 15 people and had 4 non-Caucasian team members. Not sure what the current US population stats are, but, I think it is a diverse group generationally and culturally.

Get a solid background of experience that company's are assured to want in accounting, Human Resources and IT.
What's the best part of your job at RGP?
Flexibility
Freedom and independence to work when and for whom you want doing projects that you enjoy.
How secure do you feel at your job at RGP?
Very
I feel secure enough to stay. I anticipate at least 2-3 months downtime between projects due to timing of projects and skill set matching. The projects tend to be 1-1.5 yrs in duration which is easily planned.
What's the interview process like at RGP?
Typical for all consulting firms. About an hour and a half long. Met several people in succession.
I was recruited from LinkedIn profile. It took one month for them to start me on a project that I wanted. I could have started sooner had I been willing to take a less challenging project
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at RGP?
Mentorship program.
I have no complaints about RGP culture

The CEO is new but respected.

How does RGP make decisions around promotions?
Based on experience and time with firm.
No idea. I am a part time consultant for them. I have gotten a rate increase every year.
How's the vacation policy at RGP?
2 weeks after first year and 3 weeks after second year and it goes up depending on years of service.
Depends on how long you stay with them, it's based on hours billed. I have billed 6500 hours over 4 yrs and I get 3 weeks plus major holidays paid.
