Mr. Jeffrey D. Fick, also known as Jeff, has been the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of RLI Corp. since November 1, 2016 and previously served as its Vice President of Human Resources from October 2005 to November 1, 2016. Mr. Fick has been Vice President of Human Resources at RLI Insurance Company, Mt. Hawley Insurance Company, RLI Indemnity Company and Contractors Bonding and Insurance Company at RLI Corp., since October 2005. He has 19 years of experience as an attorney and human resources executive. Previously, he served as Vice President, human resources and community relations at Snap-On, Inc., Diagnostic and Information Division since 1997. He also served as the Vice-President of Human Resources of HNI Corporation (formerly Hon Industries Inc.), from March 1994 to January 2005. During his tenure at HNI, he also served as senior counsel and general counsel and corporate secretary. Before that, he practiced law with private firms in Minneapolis, Minn., and West Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Fick holds a JD with distinction from the University of Iowa, College of Law and a BBA in Economics, also from the University of Iowa.
