Mr. Thomas L. Brown, also known as Tom, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer of RLI Corp. since September 1, 2011 and has been its Senior Vice President since May 2017. Mr. Brown serves as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Vice President of RLI Insurance Company, Mt. Hawley Insurance Company and RLI Indemnity Company at RLI Corp. He serves as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Contractors Bonding and Insurance Company. He served as Mr. Brown was a Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He served as Treasurer of RLI Corp. since September 2011 and served as its Vice President since September 1, 2011 until May 2017. He served as an Audit Engagement Partner and led numerous audit engagement teams assisting Fortune 500 insurance companies. Prior to this, Mr. Brown was the Midwest Regional Financial Services Leader where he oversaw the delivery of audit and consulting services to numerous clients within the financial services sector. He has a 31-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has been an Independent Director of First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. since February 2017. He serves as a Director of Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Prime Holdings Insurance Services, Inc. Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1979.
