The director in my team sucked. Every other leader i met from there was awesome!

Direct leaders care about the employees but sometimes are driven to make business decisions that alienate the relationships that have been fostered.

They are cool and really down to earth.

The day before layoffs started, our exec team held a company wide meeting telling us, with "metrics" how we are on course for hitting and exceeding all of our goals for the year and our company is in great shape..to turn around and then say we need to shed 2% of ops

My compensation seems drastically low for the work I do. I am below the total range provided for the US average of my job title (meaning below the minimum).

Pay is not competitive, is very low compared to local industry average, but also low compared to national industry amounts; no cost of living adjustment considerations for remote employees. Raises are hard to come by.

The promoted culture is based on good work ethics and principles - so if team members are actually invested in the essence of the culture, things could be great. But when profit becomes the driver, culture becomes more of just a window tint to keep things looking good from the outside.

The petty hype culture is all a facade. Upper management is totally detached from day to day ops and all they care about is new sales, not current partner/client retention or employee satisfaction. They hustle you into the dirt and then will replace you.

Lose the gaslighting, the toxic positivity, and the insistence on underpaying people.

Relatively fast process and decision making

The recruiter seemed to communicate effectively.

Relatively efficient and open/honest communication from recruiters (for my personal experience with interviewing); however I know of several people who have had very poor experiences due to lack of communication from recruiters.

In any of the several interviews I've had with the company, I never felt like my time was being wasted.

They lie a lot at the interview and promised things that never happened

Include fewer people in the process. Many of them have no idea how to participate in interviews.

Unhappy and undervalued employees, not serving clients as well as we should

Way too much management for the amount of workers that are actually there. They love managers on top of middle managers on top of over exaggerated middle managers.... And it's very much a political game to advance. Not the best person for the job, but hire the "yes man" just for the title

Staff across the board below Regional Vice Presidents are being underpaid and continually gaslighted in regards to our situation.

That they spent too much with advertising and nothing taking care of the employees
