Executive Bio

Mr. Paul Edward Northen, also known as Eddie, has been Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Rollins Inc. since May 01, 2015 and has been its Vice President since January 26, 2016. Mr. Northen served as UPS Vice President of Finance for West Region and Pacific Region Controller at since September 2007. Mr. Northen joined UPS in 1985. Mr. Northen has wealth of tax, risk management and audit experience, as well as strong international knowledge he was Vice President of International Finance & Accounting Global Business Services for UPS. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of UPS' Asia Pacific Region based in Hong Kong. Mr. Northen has over 22 years of UPS experience and began his UPS career as a part-time employee and then a Service Provider in the East Carolina District in Raleigh, NC. Soon thereafter, he moved to the Finance and Accounting function and progressed through various finance and accounting positions. In 1992, Mr. Northen moved to Dallas, TX and became an Internal Audit Manager and conducted audits in many areas including the UPS Airline, District offices, I.T. and outside vendors that administer the Workers??? Compensation plan for UPS. In 1994, Mr. Northen became the Georgia District Finance Manager and built the initial Finance team in the district. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he serves his community as the Board Chairman of Flood Student Missions, a non-profit that helps connect students with opportunities to serve in their community. In 1996, he was appointed the Rocky Mountain District Controller in Denver, CO. and in 1999, moved to Pennsylvania to become the Metro Philadelphia Controller. While in Philadelphia, Mr. Northen worked closely with the Philadelphia Chapter of the Urban League with fundraising activity and consulted with the Board of Directors on financial matters. He also coordinated the rollout of financial training for Wakisha Charter Middle school in downtown Philadelphia, PA. In 2002, Mr. Northen became the Pacific Region Controller Coordinator. Mr. Northen served as a Director of Orange County Business Council. In 2004, Mr. Northen began to work in Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), and was named SCS West District Controller located in Ontario, CA. In 2005, Mr. Northen moved to Hong Kong to become the Asia Pacific SCS Region Controller. While in Hong Kong, Mr. Northen was a member of the Transportation committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Late in 2006, UPS combined the SCS and Small Package business units together and Mr. Northen took responsibility for the combined units. Mr. Northen received his bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University and MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colo. He also participated in Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program.
