I used to be enthusiastic about my coworkers and often cited it as the best part of Salsify. It seems like with the amount we have grown old coworkers have been burnt out, and new ones do not have the passion/dedication.

Stronger internal communication and clear expectations

At Salsify there is little collaboration across departments. Sales is hostile to CS and vice versa. This makes internal escalation or discussion pretty difficult when there is no assumption of good intent. Everyone just assumes the worst.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
For a long time the work life balance was as good as we claimed. More recently that is not the case and we are told it will eventually get better but there are no signs of it. This pace cannot be sustained and there are going to be people leaving. That may just be expected at this point.

I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with several stakeholders that I would be working with on a regular cadence. My recruiter prepped me just enough to feel confident going in to my interview while still feeling challenged by the questions that were asked.

Leadership is very numbers-focused and very over-the-top positive. I'd like them to be more real and focus more on teams and team projects than numbers.
