SCL Health Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pto, full coverage for routine prevention check ups.

Our benefits match market competitors. They could be better, but more significantly they could be far worse.

Total reward philosophy and options

The attention of wellness (financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) is exceptional. That's one of the primary differentiators that put's SCL Health in the top 10 healthiest Catholic-sponsored health systems in the country. #grateful #gratitude

I am paid fairly for what I do and I feel we receive many perks.

The insurance we have and the vacation we can gain

We're somewhat underpaid for my position in the work that we are doing, and raises do not keep pace with the cost of living.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

It is very hard working hours and workplace and other similar positions pay more

Cost of living is comparable across markets, but different markets are paid differently.

The salary and benefits are way below the rest of the country. You cant say its just how this market is. No wonder no one wants to stay in the market.

Less pay for improved leadership.

I have worked as a phlebotomist for 9 years at this SCL location and Gained the trust and faith of my patients. I received a 5 out of 5 by my manager for my yearly review then was told not everyone got a review so everyone gets a 3.5 including me. All my work meant nothing it felt like

SCL does not pay associates a fair wage. They have cut costs by letting go of people, and adding those job responsibilities to someone else. They overload people with multiple titles, without paying them adequately for taking on new job objectives.

I make dietary decisions which are life/death. But I am paid minimum wage for these huge decisions and am held accountable for them

Having a salary that actually matches cost of living in our area. Benefits packages are lacking and expensive.

Everyone is viewed replaceable and hypocritical caring spirit is what they say they believe but that is not at all what is shown by mid level hot head management. They do not care to invest time in training or any kind of support
