My coworkers work well together, but much of what is discussed in our meetings are policies set forth by leadership outside of our department.
We're somewhat underpaid for my position in the work that we are doing, and raises do not keep pace with the cost of living.
We aren't involved in major decision-making that affects our department. This all takes place offsite in Broomfield, Colorado, and I have never seen anyone from those offices step foot in my office.
Leadership is out of a different city and we have little to no input in decisions that affect our jobs on a daily basis. I wish that leadership would reach out to those of us on the front lines for feedback and ideas.
