How's the work life balance at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes?
Could be great, but typically face pressures to do a lot out of work indirectly (“back in the day we just got it done” gets thrown around a lot. With customers walking in at all hours you’ll be run ragged even if you get off at a decent time. Staffing is low enough to beat up on you all day.
Where I'm at this place runs my life but I think any decent paying job has expectations outside of work a little bit. I would love the staff to take time off more frequently, but I come back to a work load so that idea goes out the window. Interpret this however you'd like.
What does the ideal candidate in the Sales department look like at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes?
Willing to work all the time to meet customer goals. Heavily bonus based incentives for that though
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes?
More people with less emphasis on Excel spreadsheet interpretation by management. The company makes buckets of money and acts like we’re broke all the time.
What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the Sales department at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes?
Don’t really have a sales department- it’s one person over a fairly large territory on the auto side. Promotions from within fill most the gaps, but if you end up in a rep interview the typical questions center around interactions with customers, balancing work with time, plans for the area, and a few cookie cutter questions thrown in. If you are interviewing they consider you a strong candidate - just roll with that idea.
