Overall success and growth are generally measured by project performance. Every project is an opportunity to implement to our highest ability and also a chance to learn and grow. Ideally, we create a set of plans that sails through entitlements and permitting and has few issues during construction. Realistically, challenges come up at all phases of a project. Sherwood places a strong emphasis on addressing challenges, whether technical or not, in a way that creates success for all involved. Our success runs parallel with that of the client, design team, and all stakeholders. Individually, success and growth are measured and tracked by an engineer's supervisor and supported by the entire team. Through an on-boarding process and regular check-ins and reviews, each member of our team is encouraged to identify achievable goals in keeping with firm needs and the individual's passions. In addition to improving project performance, engineer's contribute in myriad small ways to daily process
