What is the dress code at Signet Jewelers?
Business casual, depending on your store and management you may have difficulty finding the line. I was harassed by my female manager (I am also female) because my “skirt was too short” or “those pants don’t look appropriate”. It very much so depends on your management.
What is the PTO policy at Signet Jewelers?
You only get PTO if you’ve worked 1250 hours in the previous year, so good luck if you start in the fall... PTO is only one entity your vacation and sick days are all one pool.

Very hard. The company is still a popularity contest. And forget about earning a raise. All managers will tell you is “You earn your own raise via commission”.

No pets allowed during working hours. Our store is accommodating for guests pets though. We have a regular that brings her dog.

The company should provide more time off available to employees. It’s so hard to schedule time off. Also a gym membership would be nice.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Signet Jewelers?
Make sure you’re getting paid fairly. And that you’re happy with it for a couple years, chances are you won’t be getting a raise anytime soon. And your commission isn’t going to be much. A quarter of one percent most months. Make sure you keep your hours and your benefits because that’s really the only reason to stay with this company.
How innovative is Signet Jewelers?
They want you to use all the technology they don’t give you. No free WiFi, no extra bandwidth to use said technologies

You can’t work from home. It’s a retail environment. You have to be in store to get paid.

Leadership sales team does a decent job training people and getting the team excited to sell, but they are mostly very proud people who won't acknowledge their own mistakes

Decent. I feel like the repair shop interviews are a little more laid back than the sales floor interviews

Driven heavily by Senior Leadership with minimal regard to effort, timelines or realism. Complex projects boiled down to just do it because we want it, with no context as to why. There is very little engagement with senior leadership as they plow ahead with vanity projects and other fun and exciting "Opportunities to Shine"
