team work, multi tasking, organized

collaborative environment, everyone is on the same page.

Our team is collaborative, supportive, values each other's input, willing to help each other, and enjoyable to interact with at work and outside of work.

Review from Engineering Dept

we get along quite well even while the work is hard or we disagree.

Review from IT Dept

Review from Operations Dept

Assist and support each other 100%

The team is interactive, and really embodies the "win together" value. Really feels like it's a team effort in building a better product.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

It would be helpful if we had improved clarity around role boundaries and collaboration points. I would also like for us to practice giving feedback more directly, especially when it is constructive.

Showing any empathy would be a great place to start. Then, managers working to develop people and the product and commercialization team could pretend or at least to "Win Together." It feels like multiple technical and non-technical teams walk on eggshells around this specific department.

I'd be better able to complete my responsibilities if I had easier access to necessary information and systems. I'm experiencing needing to talk to several people across various levels to get the info I need to fulfill my role. If this were streamlined I'd feel less friction with my coworkers.

Due to COVID, it's hard to get to know teammates. Being on site when you're not in a lab is painful since we don't have good seating.

Be more team players and be more hard working and eager to benefit the team.

Review from Operations Dept

For the employees that have been here multiple years, make the transition from Startup mentality to Enterprise mentality. Look for opportunities to make solutions more secure and robust, instead of taking the faster path.

Review from IT Dept

Creativity is for some individals, but work will be work. Working as a team will allow for creativity.

Silazens should more often think about the other person's perspective when it comes to requesting work (e.g., what background information would be helpful? what context could be important?). They should also be mindful of using appropriate pathways to request work (Asana = good, hallway = bad).

Open communication, fewer meetings, bottom-up strategic thinking, working meetings, making sure all voices are heard
