Mr. Jesper Brandgaard, MSc, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Novo Nordisk A/S since November 2000. Mr. Brandgaard joined Novo Nordisk A/S in 1999 as a senior Vice President of Finance. He served as Member of the Senior Management Board at Novo Nordisk A/S. He served as the Chairman of the Board at NNE Pharmaplan A/S (formerly, Novo Nordisk Engineering A/s) and Novo Nordisk IT A/S, subsidiaries of Novo Nordisk A/S. He has been the Chairman of SimCorp A/S since 2008 and served as its Vice Chairman from 2007 to 2008. He served as the Chairman of NNIT A/S since 2002 until March 2017. He has been an Independent Director of SimCorp A/S since March 2007 and serves as Director of NNE Pharmaplan A/S. He served as an Independent Director of NNIT A/S since 2002 until March 2017. Mr. Brandgaard holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Auditing in 1990 as well as a Master of Business Administration in 1995 both from the Copenhagen Business School.
