I like the people I work with and it's a good company.

Chaotic. The company lacks a focused articulated set of goals. The environment is A lookout for oneself atmosphere. There is no us. It's a me culture. The systems are antiquated and outdated, and there's no desire to improve the infrastructure.

Very top heavy company. Always adding jobs at corporate and making drastic cuts at each station. $35/ month expense accounts for sales people! Micro managers that don’t care for their employees one bit. No raises in over 3 year

Letting the people at their stations run their stations. Have spent millions on yield management and new avails system that doesn’t work. Constant training sessions that leave you with many more questions than answer

Delegation, communication, and not micromanaging

They need to Stop micromanaging local journalists

Communication, motivation, trust and stop micromanaging! This isn't the 90's!

they need to get out of that 'i am the boss' fashion and adopt creative ways to improve existing staffs, rather than constantly going through lay off.

They know if you are older and your job opportunities are limited, they take advantage of that.

Sinclair is filled with incompetent managers who do not deserve the compensation they receive. Can the stock price slide any lower. Indeed it should.

I am underpaid for my level of knowledge and experience, and pay increases are not performance based.

All the coworks have a bad attitudes and that is because of SBG work environment.

We need more experienced people hired. But, many people won't come to work here due to lay pay, bad management and bad morale.

They need to be managed and held accountable. They need to have sales employees respect other employees. They are a clique and upper management promotes it! Awful.

Quit. This place is horrible. Unless you like being micromanaged and then told you're not doing a good enough job.

Sell to a company that respects the employees and is constructive with training and feedback.

Fix the performance/compensation review processes, increase wage competitiveness, and build more mobility for employees.

I think some of my coworkers could be more positive about their outlook on work, but that's a management issue. It seems to me like my coworkers don't feel valued by management, which could contribute to their angst.
