Skilljar Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

I appreciated that it was a challenging process.

The interview process was the perfect amount of time (not too long and not too short). I was able to get all of my questions answered and understand a lot more about the culture here and how the company operates.

Getting to meet with people that I'd be working with regularly.

I loved working with Skilljar's recruiting team! They were so helpful and easy to partner with throughout my interview process, and since joining Skilljar I have been so impressed by the level of care that they place on every interaction. Our recruiters are the biggest cheer leaders once we're here!

The process was extremely quick, clear, and straightforward. The recruiting team was always responsive and transparent about what was happening. The team was also very friendly and really made me feel welcome.

Although it was a lot of work and time-consuming, I felt accomplished after the last interview was wrapped up. When I was offered the position, I felt like I had earned it.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Communication was excellent. I was told clearly what to expect throughout every stage of the process.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Skilljar weaves their company values into the process, and gives candidates ample time to ask questions and learn about the company.

Everyone I talked to was very friendly, which made me feel comfortable to be myself.

The interview process was very transparent from the first intro call to the last. The team is highly responsive and gives you great feedback along the way. The Talent Team takes a consultative approach and I really appreciated that!

We make sure our interview process is consistent from candidate to candidate and that we are using tools and practices that are fair and equitable

High touch, and always knew where I stood, timing, etc.

They responded quickly and didn't string me along. The recruiter consistently contacted me earlier than the communicated.

Review from Customer Success Dept

They interviewed with values as part of the process. It's rare to see a company put that much emphasis on their values when the norm seems to be just purely selecting for hard skills.

spoke with relevant interviewers. everyone I talked to I see on an almost day-to-day basis.

Getting 1:1 time with employees I work with on a regular basis/all members of the team.

The typical interview process is long and involves multiple cross-functional team members. However, overall, it is a very positive experience where candidates are able to gain real insight into what the job will entail and who they will work alongside of in the day-to-day.

It felt very human. I had great conversations along the way. I was asked some tough but very reasonable questions and felt like I was fairly evaluated based on the role.

That is was difficult. I wanted to be probed about my experience. When I got the offer, I knew that they truly made sure I was who they wanted and because of their detail - I knew I'd be working with the best as well.

Similar to Amazon's in its thoroughness, but less lengthy and repetitive.
