What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone truly cares about their co-workers and is willing to help out.
We live our values! And people are generally just very friendly.
One of my favorite small things that Skilljar does to foster our company culture is a weekly Poll. Teammates can submit poll questions, and every Wednesday one is posed and everyone can vote. As fun as it is to see the votes, my favorite part is the dialogue and getting to know everyone better!

In meetings or messages with my colleagues, managers, or leadership, people make a genuine effort to connect on a personal level and not just focus on work. I think this promotes a culture that values people, not just employees.

We are a fully remote company which gives you flexibility but we still organize team outings to bring people together, build morale, and collaborate effectively.

People are authentic. It's not the most "professional" place, but I'd rather work with real people that are able to be their quirky selves than wear a six piece suit everyday and interact with people who are impressed by their own words.

I love how Skilljar doesn't hire one type of person. Instead, everyone comes from different backgrounds, and Skilljar recognizes how much value that brings to the company- I love that Skilljar truly represents my community!
