What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Forced RTO with 0 exceptions is a real moral killer. Having management and HR tell you well we'd hate to lose you but there's the door if you can't make this work is trash. Everyone knows that's an option. You saying that though proves none of us ever mattered. We're nothing to you
Our employee engagement groups are the best I've ever been a part of.
The most positive thing about SoFi is how inclusive it is. We have diversity Circles and are always encouraged to participate.

There's very little micro-management of engineering work. This facilitates individual ownership, both in taking credit for successes and responsibility for shortcomings. The net result is very empowering.

Overall diversity of people at my site
We really do make a difference in peoples lives. As much as I think all ads and talking points are just to push products, it felt good to actually help save people money every month, or lowering their interest rate to save 30k over the life of the loan- or both! And the gem peers and managers.
Everyone's friendly. The company has managed to bounce back from some of it's dark days of 2017 in an incredibly surprising manner. Executive is very approachable. Nit: CTO also has a regular desk like other employees and not a fancy room.
