What do you like best about the leadership team?
Authenticity, putting their money where their mouths are
When it comes to our leadership team, I believe they all live by our company values and when they can they educate others on how to live those values.
I like best about the leadership team that they run after problems. Nothing is too big or too small for leadership to take accountabilty for and they're always open to suggestions and constantly improving.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Fair salary and equity package, but getting worse in structure over time
Student Loan Repayment is by far the best.
Tuition reimbursement is my favorite part of my compensation package. It's allowed me to go back to school and I'll be finishing two degrees this year with SoFi's help. While I'm too small of a fish to recieve stock benefits, I've heard from more tenured employees that it's awesome too!

What are some of the best things about your team?
My team works flawlessly with only one meeting a week. It lets me be self sufficient and in charge of my own production. I love that while I have clear and transparent goals and KPIs set, I never feel like I'm being micromanaged. It's refreshing!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Forced RTO with 0 exceptions is a real moral killer. Having management and HR tell you well we'd hate to lose you but there's the door if you can't make this work is trash. Everyone knows that's an option. You saying that though proves none of us ever mattered. We're nothing to you
Our employee engagement groups are the best I've ever been a part of.
The most positive thing about SoFi is how inclusive it is. We have diversity Circles and are always encouraged to participate.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviewing with a peer to get to learn more about the immediate team dynamics
All remote. Granted, I interviewed during the pandemic, but the process is still remote even a year later.

It was very casual, and my interviewers were very transparent with me about what working here would be like. That was back in the start-up days, though, so a lot has probably changed...

Supported heavily by my manager
Being able to be a part of a team that is efficient, kind and collaborative. I believe that for a financial institution we aren't the kind of company that is praying on the Ill informed or the chronically poor.
