It can be challenging to keep up as the company evolves to meet external market/stakeholder needs, but the result is very rewarding.

Great mission, wonderful people, need a little more time to resolve some business strategy. So there can be some messy situations. But overall the company has a great vision, the direction is solid, the product is far ahead of anything in the industry.

People are used and disposed of. Favoritism over merit rules the inner workings. Lack of strategic leadership, and very short-sighted decision making based on founder CEO's fickle desires.

Toxic management, toxic positivity is the top skill of all managers, bad culture, lack of learning opportunities, lack of autonomy, and most importantly lack of trust. The "happy" employees suffer from organizational Stockholm Syndrome.

They bring a passion for the mission to succeed.

top-level management has some unrealistic expectations and lack 100% understanding of some of the product lines. Long term vision and translating that vision to executable actions is working well now though.

They should have better communication to each others and make a dedicated plan instead of keep changing

During the SOPHiA big parties, you can even get a shot with the the SVP's or with the CEO: everyone is accessible.

Stop doing everything only for investors benefits

They need to improve at communication and listening to employee feedback.

Respect, reduce pressure, tell the truth to employees, clients, investors.

It is known that the company pays under market because they view people indespensibly. Its a revolving door

They should provide resources for people to learn after hours and the salary is under in the boston market

Well the majority of the team is in Switzerland, and we have two meetings a week which is good but not enough support aometimes

good cohort of colleagues, everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help out. Being a global company comes with its challenges, and collaborating across the timezones (boston to Switzerland) can be tiring and challenging.

Replace the CEO - the toxic environment is directly driven by him. He is feared and unchallenged.

interview process was very easy, no technical assessments or anything just HR interview, team interview, manager interview. Took about 2 weeks from first contact to contract offer.
