What do you like best about the leadership team?
They bring a passion for the mission to succeed.
Approachable, open, focused, deliberate, very hard working.
top-level management has some unrealistic expectations and lack 100% understanding of some of the product lines. Long term vision and translating that vision to executable actions is working well now though.
They should have better communication to each others and make a dedicated plan instead of keep changing
During the SOPHiA big parties, you can even get a shot with the the SVP's or with the CEO: everyone is accessible.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The flexible working setup which has been partly gone with the back-to-the-office policy

solid pay, and fantastic health benefits for US based employees (better then >95% of organizations I'd say).

Well the majority of the team is in Switzerland, and we have two meetings a week which is good but not enough support aometimes
Young, Agile, fun, crazy sometimes, able to trully connect with the others

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are in the adventure together. There is a sense of mutual support, especially in tough times or project that must be delivered in tight timelines. Impact is prioritised over effort.

good cohort of colleagues, everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help out. Being a global company comes with its challenges, and collaborating across the timezones (boston to Switzerland) can be tiring and challenging.

interview process was very easy, no technical assessments or anything just HR interview, team interview, manager interview. Took about 2 weeks from first contact to contract offer.

My team, they give me a lot of inspiration.
customers are fantastic, and getting to work on hard challenges in the healthcare space with direct patient impacts is very rewarding.
The purpose of my company is ethical and I love to work with peopl with this kind of mindset
