Mr. Mark S. Lantrip has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Southern Company Services, Inc. since March 1, 2014. Mr. Lantrip served as Executive Vice President at The Southern Company. He served as Executive Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Southern Company Services, Inc. until March 1, 2014. He is responsible for overseeing the company's information technology, human resources, supply chain management and marketing and program management, as well as SouthernLINC Wireless, Southern Company's wireless telecommunications provider and Southern Telecom, the company's wholesale fiber optic network provider. He served as Treasurer of Southern Company. Mr. Lantrip served as Vice President, Financial Planning and Enterprise Risk Management of The Southern Co. since September 2004. Since joining Southern Company in 1981 as an analyst in the corporate planning department of Gulf Power. He serves as the Chairman of Southern Company Services, Inc. and has been its Director since March 2014. He serves as Director of Southern Power Company. He has worked in a wide variety of positions of increasing responsibility in financial planning and system planning departments across Southern Company and its subsidiaries, including Georgia Power, Southern Company Services-Birmingham and Southern Company Services-Atlanta. Mr. Lantrip's leadership roles have included oversight of treasury, financial planning and analysis and risk management.
