Mr. Stanley W. Connally, Jr., also known as Stan, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Gulf Power Company since July 1, 2012 and has been its Chairman since July 2015. Mr. Connally has been Interim Director at Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. since April 5, 2017. Mr. Connally served as Senior Vice President and Senior Production Officer of Generation for Georgia Power at Southern Company from July 2010 to July 1, 2012. He served as Senior Vice President of Fossil & Hydro Generation at Georgia Power Co. He served as the Chief Production Officer of Georgia Power Co., a subsidiary of Southern Company. He served as Plant Manager at Alabama Power's Plant Barry in 2007, has been with Southern Company for 21 years. Mr. Connally serves as Chairman of Gulf Power Company. He began his career with Georgia Power and has worked in several functional areas including customer operations, sales and marketing and power generation. He served as Plant Manager of Mississippi Power plants Watson and Daniel. He serves as Vice Chairman of Enterprise Florida, Inc. He has been a Director of Gulf Power Company since July 2012. He has been a Director of Capital City Bank Group, Inc. since January 2017. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Connally completed the Goizueta Executive Education Program at Emory University in Atlanta.
