SpaceX Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

multi panel interview and presentation. This is great so you know that you and your colleagues are at a mental level and you don't end up in a position with colleagues not at your experience level.

Review from Engineering Dept

It was very easy and professional

They asked the basic questions like all jobs, but also questions to more understand your personality and work mentality

Review from Product Dept

I got to use my own words and describe how i genuinly feel rather than being told what to do

They were welcoming and I didn't feel like there was no chance of getting hired

I was surprised by the interview questions.

They listen to you and let you explain what you’re good

The deep dive and intrigue that the recruiter had for me.

Open forum once you get your presentation done, they display genuine interest in your ideas

All question are good but you have to be a good educated people in the company

How in depth they go. They vet every aspect of you to make sure your they right person for our team

its just the whole process and experience

You get to talk with engineers and are given real technical problems instead of stereotypical coding bootcamp brain teasers.

free wine for my mouth

The entire interview process. They actually care about the things you have achieved in the last and take care in getting to know your work history and prior skills

Managers enjoyed talking about their personal stories

On site youll be taken very good care of

I don't know this is just a test

Lots of people interviewed me. It was as if they wanted to make sure they hired the right people. nowadays its a joke.

put you at ease.. ask more profound questions . the look for your potential and not qualifications

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Don't avoid discussing or sugar coat the reality of the long hours and travel. Don't do good cop bad cop interviews.

Certain men need to be less discriminatory towards women because we have lost SEVERAL good candidates that would have been major assets. The recruiters need to be more responsive to perspective hires, because you have to hunt for feedback aboot your interview.

It is necessary for more screening and keep strictly Americans in an American based company

the interview process takes several weeks to months.

having industry experienced people perform the interviews
