Great experience overall. There is a few things I would recommend for changes. Like the training for the Store Managers. Other than that I absolutely love working for Spirit Halloween!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The environment is very upbeat and the culture makes you want to hop on board. Being creative is a must.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team and the fact I am able to help put smiles on peoples faces when they find the costume or decor they are looking for.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The Leadership is very open and has a direct line to any communication. Answers are given promptly or if unknown , the leadership makes it a point to find out quickly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team was very energetic and task orientated. I knew that if there was something that needed to be done, it would be done in a timely manner. They were trustworthy and eager to excel in their job.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being a store manager (SM), I barely made more that the Assistant Managers and being the SM, there is a lot more responsibility. When the Assistant manager's pay raised, mine did not and I believe that to be unfair.
