The labor during set up in the summer is very intense. Working in the heat for long periods of time, lifting heavy walls, ect. That being said, I don't mind doing all that, but the pay could be alittle more for the intensive part of the set up, then lowered back to normal rate after.
This is also not relevant to me so I just chose the answer no.
Coworkers where great it was management that was the problem

Upper management made no effort to hire employees for the season. We were understaffed and ended up with zero experience workers who played around on shopping carts and sat around smoking or disappearing while a select few did all the heavy lifting and maintenance

Better communication and better overall training for management
A lot more notice and training on how the job actually works and what company policies are etc. There were many many times were I was completely unaware of how my store is run and had to ask my sibling who worked at a different location.

Better training for upper management. The store was ran by children with no banking, cash handling, customer service or general common sense skill. They had ad zero direction. Were left with no communicate and let to run wild and party like it was not a job but playground

Better management to conduct the interviews or atleast someone to walk you through the job and teach you instead of being hired and thrown into the store clueless
Less personal questions. They made me uncomfortable
I was ready and eager to work. I put in applications. I had to just show up because nobody took time to call. I'm pretty sure it was my age. The DM is young and wanted her age group. She said she would call and never did. I show up the next day and get hired on the spot by another manager.

The products are low quality and overpriced
I was treated horribly and then given almost no hours and not informed of it so i was left with even less. I just don't want anybody else to have to feel unsafe or like a criminal at their job that they were just hired at and told it would be just like another that trusted me to do everything alone
