Mr. David F. Conte, also known as Dave, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Splunk Inc. since July 18, 2011. Mr. Conte is responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury activities and investor relations at Splunk Inc. He has a wide range of financial expertise to the Splunk team, with more than 20 years of finance and administration experience at both public and private companies. He served as Chief Financial Officer of IronKey, Inc. from November 4, 2009 to August 29, 2011. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at Marble Security, Inc. from November 4, 2009 to August 29, 2011. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Opsware Inc. since July 12, 2006 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He has been with Opsware Inc. since 1999 served as its Vice President of Finance from March 2003 to July 2006 and Corporate Controller from October 1999 to March 2006. He has extensive knowledge of finance and accounting, as well as technology experience in a breadth of industries. Along with his finance roles at Opsware, he also served as the Head of Treasury and Risk Management and overseen both IT and facilities. He joined Opsware Inc. shortly after its inception and he spent eleven years at Ernst & Young LLP in their High Technology practice. He has been a Director of Anaplan, Inc. since April 27, 2016. Mr. Conte holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and B.S. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He earned his CA and CISA designations. He is Certified Public Accountant.
