What are you most excited about working at Splunk?
The future prospect of the company and my career
The lack of excitement. Sometimes no excitement is exciting by itself.
Overall the product is really fun to experiment with, and there seems to still be a decent amount of untapped potential.
How's the vacation policy at Splunk?
Pretty standard "X" number of days a year for years of service. However, we do have more corporate holidays that are pretty generous.
3 weeks paid vacation for everyone. You can accumulate up to 4 weeks total. Use it or lose it

What's the work from home policy like at Splunk?
flexible.
Culturally its encouraged to be in the office as much as possible, however I work from home on average about 1 day a week.

How's the leadership on the Product team at Splunk?
Current leaders lack relevant experience. The last cpuple of years have seen multiple leaders cycle through, and multiple changes in strategy. Chaos reigns.
They know the product and customer problems very well. It can be a little “old boys cluby”

What is Splunk's policy towards pets in the workplace?
The San Francisco office allows pets at work, but the London office doesn't. Just as well as I feel more people in the UK are allergic to animals

Very limited. Outsiders are filling both existing and newly created positions at higher levels throughout the organization.
