SSM Healthcare Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

i can get vision and dental

i enjoy a bi/weekly pay check

I wish we had an option to ise facilities outside of SSM Health for special circumatamces, like Mayo. I appreciate that families who fall under a xertain inclme range can have their premiums reduced or even waived.

Health coverage is wonderful, inexpensive cost.

They do have matching which promotes saving.

Benefits are affordable with adequate coverage.

The benefits are outstanding and the salary is fair.

It is a nice option of the Medical Discount Plan.

Review from Admin Dept

retirement match and health insurance subsidy

pay is above average for the job roles

Match 6% on 401K retirement fund

affordable, copay reasonable, flex spending acct. available

Review from Operations Dept

Everything is great about the package

Great package that allows a 403b matching and great PTO package

Review from Operations Dept

I like that I have a retirement plan and I get insurance through my employment, however my family does not get covered and it is very expensive for the benefits that I receive.

Review from Operations Dept

The compensation package is just good, but the opportunity to be a part of SSM Health makes is excellent.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is market competitive overall

Review from Operations Dept

awesome benefits and incentives and fair pay

Review from Customer Support Dept

PTO and low insurance deductible

Reserved Sick Leave and PTO are very reasonable.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Being paid what you are actually worth. Especially if you have more degrees and certifications than existing employees.

Needs much better health coverage. Their employees discounts are a total rip off. My team has gone over a year without a direct supervisor twice. Rarely do you get recognition for a good job. Our raises are minimal.

Because we are paid under a group job title not individual performance, we are paid poorly. cost of living has gone way up and most of us cannot pay our bills. We deserve better from a company that is faith based while the executives make plenty of money and expect us to work harder with less help

Review from Customer Support Dept

Better insurance and benefits now

Compensation is only part of the equation, leaders need to be valued and their input included.

A raise would be nice. None of us make what we deserve, and when asking for a raise after 10 years of employment, being offered SIX CENTS is a slap in the face.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Go back to pay/benefits that we had 2 yrs ago.

I would feel better if I were making at least $40/hr. This is a demanding, high stress job that requires a lot of skill and the education and continuing education required for it as well should justify the need for higher pay.

You're pushed to your limit with promises it will get better for it to get worse. They will try make shortcuts anywhere to save money. CEO and higher ups genuienly act like its a buisness and not healthcare. Do not care if your loved one has a bad outcome- every bed is filled regardless of staffing

I'm not fairly compensated for the work I do. New people earn more than me, but still no raise despite my seniority and knowledge. Instead of meaningful acknowledgement, we're given a pizza party and a generic "thank you" letter to all employees.

Review from Operations Dept

Better pay, staffing and benefits

I believe our hospital doesnt pay fairly. I started at $10.00. Now the starting wage is what 13.00-15.00. I work my rear off for 12 years and people just starting are close to my wage now.

Pay full time employees more and maybe we wouldnt have entire floors worth of travel staff

pay me as equal. Pay me for the work and knowledge i carry for this company.

There is no reason a healthcare company should not be paying any of it's employees at least a living wage.

Review from Admin Dept

Every year be if it’s get worse. This year our differentials got reduced. I got a dollar plus raise this year, but after benefit changes and differential changes I will have gotten a pay reduction. Hard to feel

Review from Operations Dept

Too many chiefs, not enough workers

Review from Operations Dept

I don’t believe I’m paid enough.

Review from Admin Dept

I don't feel we are paid as well as we could be and yearly increases are across the board and not based on performance.

I would like them to pay for our Health Care premiums and not have deductibles.
