They are personable and down to earth
Not enough diversity in leadership
We work together and provide exceptional care!
To me the leadership team is available when needed for issues.
The are great leaders daily
Put soda machines on the floor at stjoes west expand er
Listening to the employees who are actually taking care of patients. I often felt dismissed and ignored when safety issues were brought to leadership attention
Favoritism, race gap, refusal to listen to staff
CEO needs to live up to the commitments of the ministry or honesty and transparency.
Communication, and just supporting staff in general

i can get vision and dental
i enjoy a bi/weekly pay check
I wish we had an option to ise facilities outside of SSM Health for special circumatamces, like Mayo. I appreciate that families who fall under a xertain inclme range can have their premiums reduced or even waived.
Health coverage is wonderful, inexpensive cost.
They do have matching which promotes saving.
Being paid what you are actually worth. Especially if you have more degrees and certifications than existing employees.
Needs much better health coverage. Their employees discounts are a total rip off. My team has gone over a year without a direct supervisor twice. Rarely do you get recognition for a good job. Our raises are minimal.
Because we are paid under a group job title not individual performance, we are paid poorly. cost of living has gone way up and most of us cannot pay our bills. We deserve better from a company that is faith based while the executives make plenty of money and expect us to work harder with less help

Better insurance and benefits now
Compensation is only part of the equation, leaders need to be valued and their input included.
While doing this in-service, I am not referring to the other technicians I work with. I love the staff I actually work with.
Personable and skilled. Very competent
we are like family and are compassionate with each other
My team have tenure and collaborate well together
My team is strong and knowledgeable. One of the best things about working for SSM is the people.
Mgmt. needs to be within each office on a daily basis
Coworkers need to be understanding that not everyones brain is wired the same and everyone learns differently (auditory verses visual). Coworkers should be supporting their collegues instead of making snap judgments and need to practice inclusion and patience while also being empathetic, not gossip
Everyone is burnt out and working extra
arriving on time. staying for the entire sift. smile and act positive.
Managers are not fair. They pick their favorites

Staff are dedicated to patient care
we all show compassionate here
The work life balance here
We are inclusive and are are a non for profit catholic healthcare system.
People actually retire from here. They don't get forced to take early retirement. Once a couple of people were furloughed and they were actually brought back in a timely manner as promised.
Better communication, stop the clicks, talking behind backs need to stop
Fair pay, adequate recognition and bonus or incentives
The addition of better resources for staff including support staff (cna, secretary ect), intolerance of bullying and education and acceptance of neurodiversity and provide tools for employees who struggle with their mental health. More rewards and recognition for hard work
Better recognition, appreciation, and respect for employees.Higher wages, better benefits, and more guidance and support for employees well being.
An actual regard to patient safety and higher ups to actually care about good outcomes and not just money
HR was very informative about everything
they took time to listen to what I had to say
I learned about this opportunity by applying online to indeed.
It was very nice to see smiling faces
Peer interviews are used which is great
Face to face interaction and less rushed (more personal)
more structure, more support, a more experienced HR team that knows their positions
Caring for patients, especially the newborns.
I like everything here and love working here
Patient care with wonderful patients
Giving excellent customer service and care.
Working with my team, listening to them, helping them to grow.
Better pay, better benefits, better healthcare, supplies to the floor, clean laundry, clean hospital rooms,
Too much of a focus on creating news feeds for the CEO as opposed to building and running a good operations. CEO needs to show up to the office and be present.
The higher ups are out of touch. Unionizing
If SSM health wishes to succeed, it needs to elevate the critical staff it relies on to function, and it needs to develop better communication strategies. Several departments are fed up with lack of appreciation from management, and a total lack of communication.
