jobs are stagnant if one is not a design engineer, which is sad b/c stantec offers a plethora of consulting services executives are highly compensated and push responsibilities onto lower tiered employees i worked there nearly 15 years and every year it went downhill faster

They are always looking for people so the interview process was welcoming
What is the best part about your compensation package?
401k is good. stock was until it tanked in 2025. health insurance is VERY expensive
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
host management training classes to coach managers to actually manage, communicate and grow business lines
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
my team held no mtgs, no communication on goals or vision of leadership. in truth, management was just going thru motions for a paycheck
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
business units are focused on large profit centers. once a project is complete, its up to the employee to hunt to join another project team or be laid off.
