Stantec has changed quite a bit in the short 3 years I've been here in my geographic region and discipline, with a sense of deliberate moves to improve the group and our practice overall, so that makes me feel we have a positive future.

My team are all generally positive, team players, great to work with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's a general sense of support from our team and group leadership.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It felt casual; specifically directed toward the role for which I was being considered
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct leadership is great. Things get fuzzier as you go up the chain though.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It would be nice if medical benefits would at least be provided to the employee without out-of-pocket expense. I resent that I have to participate in the Vitality program even though I get insurance through my husband's employer. Retirement benefits lag as compared to other similar companies.
