State Street – A Dilbert comic strip brought to life. My client-facing team is siloed and product knowledge isn't made available to me, so I have to beg other teams for it. Other teams abuse customers and the problems are escalated to me to solve. I am burdened with endless administrative work that adds no value. | Comparably

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

No career path or realistic promise of professional development. Health benefits are all garbage high deductible health/dental plans. Tiny 401k match. Salary/raise/bonus only start to matter at VP level and above - something I have not achieved in well over a decade of combined service

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

No performance culture - everyone knows it's just a job. People adapt to the chaos by developing bad habits: pushing work onto others instead of contributing, pointing fingers, having a passive attitude about improvement. My offshore coworkers are the low bidder for the job and bad at it.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Improve the employee and customer experience drastically. Don't mandate the hiring of offshore low bidders for labor. When you buy out a company, don't let the seller walk away with the entire purchase price. Reward the employees that choose to stay. Fake woke emails are no substitute for action.
