Ms. Duckworth served as a Director of Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. from October 21, 2004 to July 1, 2010. She is a member of the board of Northwestern Mutual, the board of overseers of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Board of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Foundation. Ms. Duckworth has been named one of 21 Women Leaders for the 21st Century by Womens eNews. She holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
