Mr. David C. Sylvester, also known as Dave, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Steelcase Inc., since April 2011 and Senior Vice President since April 2011. Mr. Sylvester served as Vice President of Steelcase Inc. from 2005 to April 2011, Vice President for Global Operations Finance from 2005 to October 2006 and Principal Accounting Officer until April 2008. He served as Finance Leader of Steelcase International business segment from 1999 to 2005. Before joining Steelcase in 1995, he held several positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago. He is also a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Sylvester graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's of Business Administration in Finance.
