Strava Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The ERGs make everyone feel like they belong! And I love our ABCs.

I love the the camaraderie aspect and how we all band together for WoWs. The energy around fitness is so fun!

Camaraderie and support within our team, the people on the floor care about each other

There's a lot to do but most the things I get to work on are exciting or important in the sense that they impact real peoples usage of the product and their ability to get outside and do something.

Review from Product Dept

Review from Business Development Dept

Encouraging a positive and healthy lifestyle.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Review from Finance Dept

Review from Engineering Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Supporting employees to work on things that they're passionate about with more autonomy and risk-taking, and cutting away the red tape, bureaucracy, and extremely status-quo-reinforcing leadership culture that has led to Strava Speed.

Review from Engineering Dept

More time for preparation, especially for international tasks.

Review from Marketing Dept

old culture is gone, company is trying to redefine what's "cool", but benefits and budgets are outdated

Review from Engineering Dept

Immediately stop letting marketing have any control over engineering. They are making absurd demands and causing major disruptions. Don't staff brand new teams with junior engineers to work on the most important feature releases. Own the fact that the reorg is basically indecipherable.
