I've worked at Sugarwish from the early days when there were only a few of us. Working at Sugarwish has helped me realize how passionate I am about not only corporate gifting but also working with like-minded and talented coworkers.

Sugarwish is an awesome place to work! They have a team focused culture and set up their facility and working environment to promote that mindset. I always see the management team working as hard as every member on the team which I always think is very telling. It is busy but fun and productive.

They still use manual tracking of packed products, no sense of organization and an ex teacher is trying to juggle it all with no experience. Never any positive comments to staff and everyone is left to their own devices to figure things out. No communication, procedures are not standardized, Crazy!

Sugarwish is a dynamic, growing woman-owned business based in Denver. The concept is excellent, the actual operations need some improvement but with the right management in operations, it could be a 10. It is a fast paced environment with several operations across the city. Pay is good.

They are quick to listen and find ways to innovate and execute client requests.

The leadership team at Sugarwish is the best. With a diverse background, each team member is carefully picked to complement the team.

The management team at Sugarwish works very hard. They are not the type to dictate orders and then sit around while others do the work. They work more hours and harder than everyone else. They treat me kindly and always try to make the busy days fun and show their appreciation for everyone there

They have performed all of the operational jobs themselves so should have a great idea of what it takes to make things work. They do not process/distribution down yet, but perhaps will in the coming year. Many things could be streamlined by technology, including inventory and worker output

Use technology so they know what has been ordered, what is in the warehouse, how to retain GOOD employees, communicate procedures, stop rotating people into a different job everyday. Let them learn the job first. See who is good at what, give incentives to use urgency. Communicate in spanish AND ENG

Certainly could provide benefits, flex time, stop blaming systems for orders not filled and do something about lack of systems

There are no benefits, all workers are paid through a 3rd party temporary help agency. Managers are not open to new ideas or ways to improve the process. Many times workers are standing around and don't have something to do, and at other times, everyone is running around with their hair on fire.

The team is diverse, knowledgeable, and always ready for a challenge. They're also very nice and call out good deeds.

I have met a lot of great people at Sugarwish. There is a diverse group of co-workers there which I've really liked. I feel like we have an "in this together" attitude that gets us through some of the crazy days by laughing!!!

They are generally happy to have a job

Working with smart people is great for me personally. We all work toward our goals and we celebrate each other.

Kindness matters, decisions are made to do the rigtht thing.

Sugarwish really appreciates their employees and they do things to show us. The managers bring in treats and lunches to thank us sometimes. We have a few spots in the office where you can shout out co-workers and managers which is cool

Many people last only a week or two because they get rotated in to a different job every day and never learn it completely. By the time they get back to doing that same job, everything about it has changed and there is no written documentation or procedures manual. People are constantly on cell phon

Who could hate candy? It is a happy place. It is hampered by so many language barriers and often there is reverse discrimination so that English speakers are not informed what is going on. The communication is fair, but not great because usually things are not communicated from one shift to anoth

Focused on what matters and provided an ability for me to shine.

Basically during busy season, they take all able bodies. They use a temp agency and no one even really meets the boss. Turnover is 90% during busy season and no one in management cares. Some team leaders are attitude-prone and difficult to deal with

Very little info given in this interview. It was done in groups and took less than a half hour. Basically if you breathe, you get a job. No idea what you would do, how long you would do it, what the downsides would be etc. Many quit right away, many stay a matter of a week or so.

You can work independently or with a team. The flexibility is also nice.

Different jobs every day, ie. shipping, packing, prep work and other jobs - can be good if you don't like doing something but it leaves holes and inconsistency. Also, if someone is really good at one job, they should keep them there as they are probably happy. Too many who don't understand the proce

Orders don't get filled in timely manner, or substitutions are made. Customers are not notified if their choices are unavailable, the orders sit in a room for days without being filled. Many mistakes are made in shipping, scanning and orders are mixed up constantly.
