I am very happy with my job at sunrise bank

Wish it could be better, but the companyis better that what's out there

I started at Sunrise as an intern while still in school. From there I took on a full-time role. I have been promoted and switched roles a couple times. I feel as though I am given sufficient opportunities to grow and continue learning.

I've only been part of Sunrise for a couple weeks, but from what I've seen, our leadership team members are great at showing the 10x values through example. They understand that positions of power and wealth are a great opportunity to do good in the world!

I don't think there's one particular area that's very different than other companies, but the consistent quality of compensation, benefits, and PTO makes it an exceptionally well-rounded package that makes me feel fairly paid and taken-care-of.

I think Sunrise needs to raise compensations a bit in order to retain employees for longer. This is especially true in 2022 when considering inflation.

Sometimes I feel undervalue, I wish there were more opportunities for advancement. Compensation should be higher.

I feel I work hard and am not compensated well for my work. Other companies compensate their employees who is in the same role much better. You can see it on glassdoor.com and just in asking people how much they make at other companies.

I believe not all the departments at Sunrise a paid to industry standards. That creates more turnover in certain departments. The stance by HR is that the overall turnover rate is normal; but they don't look at why some departments have more turnover than others.

We're all very independent workers that respect each other's time. Our morning standups are friendly, usually with a small anecdote or joke from someone to brighten the day.

Communication is key and everyone keeps each other well informed.

My team is awesome. Even in the remote world we are living in time is made for team gatherings and team bonding which I find very important.

I think love for humanity and the desire to do good is powerful, and that institutions built over years on that impulse can become force amplifiers for the people that comprise it.

The diversity within this company is amazing and wonderful.

The most positive thing about the Sunrise culture is kindness. I feel like the large majority of employees and leaders at Sunrise are extremely kind and approach others with this kindness.

I think many people would empathize with the sentiment that getting out of bed to go to work is often not fun. But after I've gotten through our morning meeting and put some coffee down the gullet, I know I'm working on important products with great people, and I'm happy to be here.
