He served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of Exar Corp. from December 2008 to June 23, 2009 and also as its Vice President from June 23, 2009 to June 2011. He has been with Exar for almost seven years. Mr. Bauer served as an Operations Controller of Exar Corp., from February 2001 to August 2005. Previously, he served as Operations Controller at WaferTech LLC from July 1997 to February 2001 for four years, and served at VLSI Technology for ten years where he served in a variety of increasingly more senior roles culminating in his position as Director of Group Controller-Communications Group. He held finance positions at Memorex and Bank of America. He served as a Director of Exar Corp. Mr. Bauer holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara and a B.S. in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. He received an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in Business Administration from California Lutheran University.
