Accept a pay level lower than you are worth.

Depends on the person some people get multiple promotions in less than a year. Some don't see even minor advancement after multiple years

That I was brought in way below an appropriate level and I should have never agreed to that because you seem to become stuck at whatever level you start at.

None that I am aware of. They may offer something to leadership

They are OK if you're single and healthy

The mobility is not equitable. There are some people who can go from the bottom to CEO, but that appears to depend on favoritism more than credentials or ability.

At lower levels they seem to target recent grads from undergrad and grad schools so they can get them below market rate

Find someone who's been with the company that will be open and transparent about your prospects
