Employees need a re-cap about their professionalism
Providence needs a complete reversal in their business model. Should strive to make Providence best place to work best place to receive care. Not best place to be unnecessary administrator finding ways to cut costs and give themselves a raise and bonus!
more resources and increased safety standards
Staff not valued. Patient needs not recognized. Increase in number of staff getting assaulted by patients in Seattle. . Don't get mandated breaks. If float team RN calls in sick, no attempts to get replacement.
We have 12 open positions for RNs currently. We are severely understaffed and our patients suffer and have to wait upwards of 2 hours to receive their chemotherapy and supportive therapy because of it. It feels unsafe and shouldn't be this way.
So little staff that daily things that need to be done can't be done and process improvement needs to be a focus but can't be d/t afforementioned staff limitations.
