They listen and are effective
Approachable. They are usually open to your udeas. Don't always plant the seeds however.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Paying me what was agreed upon in my contract.
Paying me what they owe me. Hiring more techs. Actually doing something about the problems at the hospital instead of handing out t shirts for hospital week.
ACTUALLY LISTENING TO PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF DISMISSING THEM OR GETTING DEFENSIVE
Everything! It’s like they are trying to ruin Swedish. Get rid of MBA’s making decisions impacting hospital. Quit increasing number of execs/admin & their pay. The business is the hospital/ patients & frontline workers are what makes it successful - realize that! Happy employees don’t
Get rid of bully nurses. We need to work as a team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
therapy weekly for $9.38. Decent healthcare.
Vacation time. Healthcare PPO. Too little CE support.
WE are paid well, although slightly less then Kaiser and less then private clinics
Just really satisfied. I have no complain.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If they paid me what was agreed upon.
If they pais me what was originally in my contract.

Need to ise PTO hours for holidays
Covid is a nightmare in the ER. Need hazard pay and then some. Many ER and ICU nurses are being paid over $100/hour compared to $35/hour
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have each other's back.
THE NURSES WHO WORK HERE CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, TO THEIR DETRIMENT
Nice people but all the experienced nurses left. Only new grads working which is simply terrifying.
We all love what we do but Providence is making our job so difficult it is becoming unsustainable and already is unsafe. We are united in how we feel about Prov.

A team that eases human suffering and saves lives in the ER. Most everyone helps everyone else whenever possible.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Pay contracts as stated and agreed upon. Doctors that seek anger management counseling.
Pay their contract workers what was agreed upon.
UNDERSTAND THAT MONEY ISN'T THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS WHEN RUNNING A HOSPITAL
Less fluffy corporate slogans, get rid of the union, and just treat employees like humans

THE CULTURE IS SHORT TERM, AND FINANCIALLY FOCUSED, WHICH LEADS TO WORSE OUTCOMES
Unsafe staffing with unsafe working conditions
Employees need a re-cap about their professionalism
Providence needs a complete reversal in their business model. Should strive to make Providence best place to work best place to receive care. Not best place to be unnecessary administrator finding ways to cut costs and give themselves a raise and bonus!
