Teamwork. Compassion. Hard work ethics. Good sense of humor. Treats patients as if their healthcare is a human right.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Visibility, taking a pay cut, actually going on the nursing units and listening to the staff and issues and improvements that could be made.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We have 12 open positions for RNs currently. We are severely understaffed and our patients suffer and have to wait upwards of 2 hours to receive their chemotherapy and supportive therapy because of it. It feels unsafe and shouldn't be this way.
