What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Creating goals which make sense no just pretty powerpoints.

Review from Executive Dept

At practicing what they preach

Review from Design Dept

Show more appreciation for the daily work not just what is above and beyond. Be more clear about what is done well and where gaps are seen. Review compensation in a way that is more fair and consistent across the organization. Different pyramids experience this very differently.

Review from HR Dept

It would be helpful to identify thoughtful and clear communication, establish clear direction, identify prioritization that aligns cross-functionally, and acknowledging when the team is approaching burnout.

Review from Marketing Dept

Making and sticking to decisions

Review from Finance Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Not paid fairly for my roles and new hires get more valued and benefits than internal employees.

Review from HR Dept

receiving equity as every tech company does, even for lowest level FTEs. not receiving equity in a startup these days is unheard of especially in a role that directly impacts leadership and their ability to do their job well

Review from Executive Dept

As we transition from restaurant to platform we are beginning to bring in people from other industries. Restaurants/food service is among the lowest paying industries and tech is among the highest and this disconnect isn't accepted yet. I'd feel better if my base came up significantly.

Review from Engineering Dept

The work load across teams is not equal. There are some extremely fleshed out teams working a lot less hours than other teams who have to work 60 hour weeks to do the minimum required for their role

Review from Design Dept

kept in line with the changing market

Review from Operations Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

be clear on objectives for meetings and projects. if you need help or time from other departments, you need to show why it is a priority and lead the work effectively so it isn't a burden with no clear reason why

Review from Finance Dept

Our talent level across the board does not achieve parity with other leading brands

Review from Product Dept

Need more cross-functional teams and leaders for many projects. A lot of the new dev seems to be silo'd - especially in the key areas that our company needs to tighten up to get to the next level: Ops, Digital, Data

Review from Engineering Dept

Too much ego and emotion, no realization that we are all playing for the same team

Review from Marketing Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Planning of more realistic timelines. Working towards meeting the shortest conceivable timeline is good as a goal, but disregarding history and ignoring the reality of new initiatives and changes, in favor of boosting projected numbers, sets us up to fail at the first sign of an unexpected issue.

Review from Design Dept

Streamline the amount of initiatives we are focused on and ownership for those initiatives. Multi threaded ownership and the relative immaturity of our talent base ensures that we cannot movie quickly or effectively to meet executive priorities

Review from Product Dept

It's hard to believe but perhaps things are too laissez faire, and we need more discipline. We need stronger leaders and product managers to steer the ship and keep us on course. We need more team and culture building, and more moments to come together, perhaps on a daily basis.

Review from Marketing Dept

Stop chasing what every other
